No one wants to be the one that is known for party fouls. Our pub tour is loads of fun and a good time, however, there are a few “rules” we would like you all to be aware of. These are for your safety and to increase your enjoyment while pedaling around the city with us. Here are five party fouls you DO NOT want to commit on our trolley.
1) Don’t Bring Glass on the Pedal Pub
In the state of North Carolina, there are a number of liquor laws and regulations. Any pedestrian cannot legally walk (or pedal) public streets while drinking openly. As a business, we are able to operate where you can drink openly while we tour the city of Raleigh, as long as it is not hard liquor. We also want to avoid any glass being on the trolley, so no incidents of broken glass occur. Bring your reusable cups or cans of beer and you are good to go!
2) Don’t Bring an Attitude or Behave Inappropriately
Remember that this is an outdoor activity and we will pass a lot of people on the streets that want to stop, watch you pedal by, cheer you on, and enjoy your music. You do not want to ruin a good time for yourselves or them either. Let’s be respectful of everyone, even those not enjoying the pub tour. Also, just be happy and we guarantee you will leave in higher spirits then you came!
3) Always Respect Your Trolley Pub Conductor
They are the boss and in charge so be sure to listen to your driver if they politely ask you to do (or stop doing) something. Trust us, we all want to have just as much fun as you during the ride and we will if everyone respects one another! Our conductors are fun so feel free to start up conversation or don’t hesitate to ask questions.
4) Bring A Killer Playlist – But Keep It PG
Again, you are on public streets so let’s be mindful of all ages that may hear the music. There are plenty of great jams out there, which do not have constant foul language. Even Lil Wayne has street appropriate tunes so choose your music with respect of everyone around us.
5) Do NOT Drink & Drive!
You have to be at least 15 years of age to ride the trolley but must have a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years old. Anyone under the legal drinking age of 21 will not be allowed to drink on the ride. Proof or verification will be required before starting the ride. Make sure you plan accordingly for a ride afterward, whether you have an assigned DD or call for an Uber. The only drinking and driving we allow is drinking and pedaling!
