#1 – Birdsong Brewing
Birdsong is a 17,000 square foot building with a 30-barrel brewhouse. It is the perfect neighborhood spot to socialize with friends and even strangers. They offer year-round as well as seasonal beers that you can look up before hand on their website. The staff is always super friendly, and people always leave with awesome things to say about the environment of Birdsong.

#2 – The Unknown Brewing
The Unknown is another great place for socializing and making new friends at. There are usually food trucks onsite as well, so you can grab a bite to eat while drinking. This is a good spot to go if you are interested in watching a sporting event. They usually have these events on their surrounding televisions.

NoDa is cool and unique because it is considered a microbrewery, which is limited production and you can usually only get their beers locally. This friendly staff is always excited to meet newcomers and see familiar faces enter the building. You might even get to meet Marley, their brew dog if he is around. They are always trying to create unique beers that people will love. This is always a must stop place if you want to experience a spot unique to Charlotte.

#4 – Thirsty Nomad Brewing
The name of this brewery alone makes someone want to stop by and see what they are all about! Their explanation of the vibe offered is, “a steampunk aesthetic with a healthy dose of geekiness.” If you are not a huge beer drinker, they even offer wine, cider, and sodas. This is a newer location in Charlotte and already a highly recommended spot to check out.
- Recommended Beer: Thai Breaker (brewed with lemongrass and other herbs)

Pilot Brewing uses locally sourced ingredients and traditional brew recipes while trying to add their own experimental design to each one. You are bound to find something you love here.
