Everyone knows that guy (or gal) that ALWAYS party fouls and no one wants to be that person! Trolley Pub is a super fun outing but just like every party, there are limits or rules to make sure everyone and not just us are enjoying themselves. Here are 5 party fouls that we want to avoid on the Trolley Pub to maximize your experience and fun. As long as you follow these bike bar rules then you will not be the hated guy at the party and will have one of the best times with us!
1) Don’t Bring Glass or Hard Liquor on the Party Bike
In the state of North Carolina, there are a number of liquor laws and regulations. Any pedestrian cannot legally walk (or pedal) public streets while drinking openly. As a business, we are able to operate where you can drink openly while we tour the city of Charlotte, as long as it is not hard liquor. We also want to avoid any glass being on the trolley, so no incidents of broken glass occur. Bring your reusable cups or cans of beer and you are good to go!
2) Don’t Let the Beer Get the Best of You
Remember, you are on a moving mode of transportation so please stay buckled up. This means no jumping on and off the trolley to avoid any injuries. Also, you are outdoors on public streets and we want everyone else to have fun watching you all have a great time pedaling by. Avoid shouting obscenities or acting inappropriately so bystanders can also enjoy themselves, children included.
3) Do Respect & Listen To Your Trolley Pub Conductor
Your driver knows best! They want to have just as much fun as you do so make sure you listen to them if they suggest you stop doing something. We want to ensure your safety and enjoyment at the same time. There is only one conductor on board most times and up to 14 of you so let’s just be respectful of them doing their job.
4) Don’t Blast Inappropriate Tunes
Again, you are on public streets with people of all ages. We want to keep the music appropriate for everyone that can hear. This leaves room for a ton of options, so we do not doubt you can suggest and play music that everyone can jam out to.
5) Don’t Drink Underage or Drink & Drive
You have to be at least 15 years of age to ride the trolley pub but must have a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years old. Anyone under the legal drinking age of 21 will not be allowed to drink on the ride. Proof or verification will be required before starting the ride. Make sure you plan accordingly for a ride afterward, whether you have an assigned DD or call for an Uber. The only drinking and driving we allow is drinking and pedaling!
